2025

  • Signed a global YouTube business partnership with Collab Asia.
  • Launched the KMS-S800.

2024

  • Launched KY Karaoke for LG Smart TVs in 18 countries.
  • The global TV app now unified under K VOICE received its fourth Korea Innovation Award.
  • Lee Suk Hyun was appointed CEO.
  • Signed a content-use agreement with Haetbit Gadeukchan Silver Edunet.
  • Held the first Trot Singing Contest.

2023

  • Yoon Jung-ik was appointed CEO.
  • K-Smart Coin, a dedicated coin karaoke system, was named a 2023 No. 1 Consumer-Recommended Brand.
  • Held the Rising Seven Star Season 2 music festival.
  • Entered the OX Coin Karaoke franchise network.
  • Launched the KY-S1000.
  • Signed an MOU with the Korea Association of Senior Welfare for senior welfare projects.

2022

  • Launched KY Karaoke on SK B tv.
  • Jeon Jae-yu was appointed CEO.
  • Signed an MOU with Obigo for an infotainment karaoke service.
  • Received the Korea Innovation Award for the third consecutive year.
  • Launched the KMS-U100 karaoke machine.
  • Signed a partnership with KT Rolster.
  • Ranked first in the Korea Consumer Satisfaction Index for the second consecutive year.
  • Obtained a US patent for the lyric-reading karaoke service.
  • Signed an agreement with LG Electronics for a Smart TV karaoke service.

2021

  • Introduced MUEZ TUBE.
  • Launched the KYSING PC karaoke service.
  • Launched the mobile karaoke app now unified under K VOICE.
  • Launched the Samsung Smart TV karaoke service now unified under K VOICE.
  • Launched K-Young Pay.

2020

  • Signed an industry–university cooperation agreement with UNIST.
  • Launched KY lyric-reading karaoke on SKT NUGU.
  • Launched the MUEZ 2 premium Bluetooth microphone.
  • Launched the Jukebox.
  • Launched the S700W karaoke machine.
  • Launched the S900P karaoke machine.

2019

  • Launched KT GiGA Genie Premium KY Karaoke, described as Korea’s first AI karaoke service.
  • Commercialized K-POP VR·ZON.

2018

  • Changed the company name to KY Entertainment.
  • Launched the KMS-Q500R.
  • Launched the KYG-2121 (Play Audition).
  • Launched the MUEZ karaoke app.
  • Launched the MUEZ Bluetooth microphone.
  • Launched the KHK-300 home karaoke machine.

2017

  • Launched the KMS-S100.
  • Launched the KMS-S300.
  • Launched a coin karaoke sales-management system.

2016

  • Kim Jin-gap was appointed chairman and CEO.
  • Acquired the Keumyoung Group’s karaoke machine business.
  • Launched the KG LiVEN S-90 and S-100 series.

2015

  • Launched the KMS-Q300N.

2014

  • Launched the KMS-Q100 and Q200 series.

2013

  • Adopted smartphone-based new-song updates.
  • Launched the KMS-K70SR series for Smart Rental.
  • Launched Smart Rental, the industry’s first karaoke machine rental service.
  • Launched the KMS-K100 and KHM-600.
  • Launched the KMS-K70 and KMS-K70R.
  • Launched the KCM-100 for in-vehicle use.
  • Launched the KMS-7100 and KMS-7500 for overseas markets.

2012

  • Launched the KMS-K95 series.

2011

  • Launched the KMS-A300.
  • Launched the KHM-500 wireless handheld model and KMS-200.
  • Obtained Inno-Biz certification.

2010

  • Launched the KMS-A100/A50 and feel TONG 600.

2009

  • Received the US$10 Million Export Tower award.
  • Joined the Advanced Marine Lighting Research Center at Korea Maritime University as a joint research partner; the center was designated by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

2008

  • Launched feel TONG 350, the KAM 350 amplifier, KSP 650/350 speakers and KMC 1000 wireless microphone.
  • Became the exclusive supplier and operator of karaoke on KORAIL café trains.
  • Received the 2008 IT Export Excellence Award from KOTRA’s Tokyo IT Support Center.
  • Held 22 Korean trademarks and 30 Korean patents in the karaoke machine field.

2007

  • Launched the feel TONG brand, including the feel TONG 100, 200L and 300L series, and opened the feel TONG website.
  • The feel TONG 400 received a Good Design mark and was selected as a 2007 Product of the Year.
  • Established a Japan office, signed an export agreement with BMB and began exporting song-search devices.
  • Became an official partner in the singer category of a broadcasting and entertainment recruitment fair.
  • Received a 2007 Product of the Year award from a global product-news organization.

2005

  • Established a Philippines office, positioning its products in the premium karaoke machine segment.
  • Expanded TV karaoke services to Qrix and KCTV Jeju Broadcasting.
  • Developed what the company records as the world’s first two-way cable TV music-service technology, used on Korean CJ and LG cable services.

2003

  • Established a joint venture in China and signed an export agreement with a Vietnamese company for HDD and DVD karaoke machines.

1999

  • Designated an enterprise with outstanding technological competitiveness and obtained CE marking.
  • Registered 25 domestic and international karaoke-related patents.

1996

  • Released what the company records as the world’s first karaoke machine with live-vocal chorus, and subsequently maintained its leading position in Korea.

1995

  • Established a US office, continued sales to the Korean-American market and ranked first in the home karaoke market, as recorded in the company’s history.
  • Successfully developed live-vocal chorus technology in Korea and registered a patent.

1994

  • Opened a Beijing office and signed a distributorship agreement in Thailand.
  • Obtained UL marking.

1991

  • Launched a computer-based music accompaniment system.

1989

  • Incorporated Keumyoung Co., Ltd.
